Our increased bandwidth (155 Mbps OC3) is finally installed and operational!! We now have room to grow our service and will soon be offering speed upgrades to you, our valued customers. This much awaited upgrade has been in the makings since April and we apologize for the delay, however the ICS team has always kept its promises and we are very proud to announce this upgrade.

Those of you that were experiencing latency and slow performance with your Internet service during the highest traffic periods should be experiencing a noticeable improvement in performance. If you are still experiencing bandwidth below what your property manager is providing, ICS is now confident that the problem is localized and you should be contacting the ICS customer support department to isolate the problem. We now have the bandwidth to provide what we promised to you and your property manager.

To Users of the ICS Network:

We are aware that our Internet service is slowing down in the evening hours, right when everyone wants to use it! Be assured that ICS is committed to keeping our promises, both to you the end user, and to our property managers.

We have had an order placed to double our bandwidth since April of this year but there have been several frustrating delays in getting it installed. We now have assurances from our providers that this upgrade will take place no later than September 1st, and may happen even before that.

We apologize for any inconvenience this delay has caused you, but be assured that the problem is only temporary as ICS is commited to being the premier provider of Internet and Digital Television services to apartment complexes.

If you are having problems getting connected, please call our tech support-line at 515-268-4000. If you are connected, but are having speed issues, please bear with us until the upgrade is in place.

On behalf of ICS Advanced Technologies and your property manager, Welcome Back! We hope that your summer was full of many memorable and exciting events. For those of you who have not yet lived in an apartment complex that provides ICS Hotrod Internet or ICS Satellite TV, you are in for a real treat.

While you were gone over the summer, ICS has taken steps to add more bandwidth which allows individual speed upgrades in addition to the service your property manager already provides. The equipment upgrades are complete and our new bandwidth will be installed very soon. ICS is being told this will happen in the next two weeks.

This upgrade feature will be found in the upper right of the log-in page. Watch this space for announcements of when your “upgrade my service” button will become active. If you will be downloading large files, streaming video, or sending large files, photos, and graphics, this upgrade option is for you. Just click on the button and select the speed that best fits your needs

Additionally, ICS has worked hard to update the log-in page that you will see when you connect to the Internet. The log-in page also includes the ability for the property manager to put important information regarding your apartment complex, weekly reminders, and important announcements for you, the tenant. This new look will become active on your login page later this month.

Remember, if you run into a problem with your computer over the semester, ICS has a department dedicated to analyzing and fixing your computer. We will help get your computer running at optimal efficiency again.

!!Important Notice!!

ICS Advanced Technologies will be performing maintenance to the Internet Network August 15th thru the 16th (Tuesday & Wednesday) from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. If necessary, additional maintenance may be performed Thursday August 17th.

These upgrades are necessary to prepare our network for a significant increase in overall bandwidth that is scheduled to be installed next week. We are adding an OC3 (155mbps) to our bandwidth.

During these scheduled times, your Internet connection will be down and unable to be accessed. We are handling maintenance at this time due to the fact it will affect the least amount of users on the network.

Please refrain from calling our emergency number during the scheduled maintenance while our Tech Support Team works to enhance your Internet experience.
